That Ellen encourages a toxic work environment is an accusation that has been stated by countless people at this point. One person on Twitter said when she was newly hired, she was told to never ever say hi to Ellen.
She was also told the by now classic “never look her in the eye”. It’s hard to understand how someone so charming in front of the camera, who has created an empire on her focus on kindness, can be so unnecessarily cold to the very people who help her run the show.
