One truly disturbing story came from a Twitter user who claimed to be the good friend of a woman who worked on The Ellen Show for over five years.
When the woman left for maternity leave she found another great job, but Ellen allegedly called her and begged her to come back. The woman agreed, but after being back for one week, she got fired for no reason – and struggled for months to land another job. Of course we haven’t heard Ellen’s version here, but it does sound like a beyond cold-hearted move…
