Mariah Carey may no longer have the voice she once had, or be very active in the music industry. But, her legacy as the biggest diva will probably never fade. Just like she pretended she had no idea who J.Lo was, even after the talented girl from the Bronx had made it big, she treated Ariana Grande the same way.
She first pretended to not know who she is. Then in another interview, when asked what she thought about Ariana being compared to a young Mariah, she snapped and said “I am still young, I stopped counting at 17!”.
