The blog post wasn’t directed only at Ariana, but Mayim was criticizing billboards and music videos in general, and how they exploit female artists for their bodies rather than their voices.
Even though she is not alone in that opinion, and even though she is of course allowed to express it, Ariana hardly asked to be drawn into that debate. But unlike in the case of Piers Morgan, Ariana either ignored the jab at her, or missed the whole thing. She is pretty busy being a star, after all.
