These White Actors Played Non-White Roles

[post_page_title]Joseph Fiennes – Michael Jackson (Elizabeth, Michael and Marlon)[/post_page_title]

We swear we’re not making this one up. In 2016, an episode of the British TV show Urban Myths was set to present a tale called “Elizabeth, Michael, and Marlon.” Supposedly, Elizabeth (Taylor), Michael (Jackson), and Marlon (Brando) were unable to catch a flight out of New York City in the wake of 9/11, so they rented a car and took a cross-country trip.

The King of Pop was to be played by… Joseph Fiennes. That’s not a joke – he even claimed that a “pigmentation issue” caused Jackson’s skin to appear “closer to my color than his original color.” Despite this spirited defense, the episode never aired.
