It’s well known that many of the actors on Little House on the Prairie went on to have successful careers in Hollywood. Laura Ingalls, in particular, went on to become a major household name. However, another star that showed just as much potential at the time was Melissa Gilbert.
Gilbert appeared in 190 out of the 204 episodes of the show. After the show ended, she continued acting in Hollywood and even appeared on Dancing with the Stars in 2012. She also ran for Congress, but had to retire due to an old injury.
