Many of you might remember Jimmie Walker as the eldest son in the Evans family and the actor behind the trademark catchphrase “Dy-n-omite!” Despite being nominated for two Golden Globes, Walker retired from acting and decided instead to pursue a career in radio. He would even start hosting several radio shows, such as WLS, KKAP, and WHIO.
In addition, Walker is a stand-up comedian and published author. In 2012, he published his autobiography; in which he thanked Good Times for giving the success he enjoyed throughout his career.
