Like many other child actors who made breakthroughs very early on in their careers, Jay North also lost interest in acting and now holds a normal job. After a few roles in film and television, North was cast to play the titular role on Dennis the Menace in 1957.
His acting was well received and North’s popularity continued to skyrocket in the coming years. However, he got bored of acting and decided to lead a “normal” life instead. He currently works as a correctional officer for the Florida Department of Corrections.
