They say that luck plays just as much of a role as talent when it comes to being successful in show business. Karath hit the jackpot at a pretty young age when she played Gretl von Trapp in The Sound of Music.
The musical is still regarded as one of the best ever and gave Karath the breakthrough that aspiring actors and actresses dream of. However, she quit acting to focus on her education. She moved to Paris and occasionally modelled, making guest appearances here and there.
