If you’ve seen the hit sitcom Good Times, you probably remember Ralph Carter as the actor that played Michael Evans. However, Carter made his debut in show business originally on Broadway, appearing in the musical The Me Nobody Knows at the tender age of nine.

In addition to acting, Carter is also well known for his musical talents, and even recorded his own album When You’re Young and in Love in 1975. He retired from acting in the 80s and currently is the vice president of AUDELCO, an organization that supports African American performers.
