[post_page_title]Royal babies are wrapped in special, high-end blankets[/post_page_title]
Not every birth-related royal tradition dates back generations, but few are as wholesome as this more recent one. When Prince Charles was born, he received a gift of a luxurious knitted-lace shawl from a company called G. H. Hurt & Son. Later, when Charles had a child of his own, Prince William, he was also swaddled in one of their shawls.
This tradition continued with all three of William’s children – George, Charlotte, and Louis – and even crossed over to Prince Harry’s son Archie. If you’re interested, their products are surprisingly affordable – George’s shawl retails for about $75, while Charlotte’s is a little more expensive at $105.
