Let’s go back in time, to the 1990s, when there were two teen actresses in Hollywood who made quite the impression – Scarlet Johansson and Thora Birch. After they appeared alongside one another in the movie Ghost World, their careers have both gone off in two very different directions.
Whilst Scarlet was able to maintain the hype and live up to it, Birch really struggled. She has since put her focus and energy into more artsy kind of movies.
