Social media influencers often feel as though they’re doing restaurants a favor by dropping in, eating free food, and then reviewing the menu afterward. However, this can actually be detrimental to the business, as they have to give up a table that could be filled with paying customers for someone who really doesn’t have much of an influencer.
This restaurant decided to let potential influencers know that if they wanted to review their eatery, they could do so. They would have to pay for their meal, though.
