It turns out, no, Meghan’s title on Archie’s birth certificate was not a mistake and is very much accurate. In fact, all three of Kate’s children have the same title for her on their forms, though she is also considered a Duchess, not a Princess.
The reason for this is because they are married to princes. This means that they are also princesses, even if their official title is Duchess. It looks like Meghan really is a princess in all actuality.
