Most Easter eggs and details in Pixar movies stay within the Pixar animated universe. But here and there, you can spot some that are meant for the older generation, who also enjoy non-animated popular culture.

Vertigo is an Alfred Hitchcock classic from the 1950’s, and in this scene (in Dream Productions) we see a poster on the wall for a dream that’s called “I’m Falling for a Very Long Time Into a Pit”. The design is obviously taken from Hitchcock’s Vertigo.
