This is another detail that’s very hard to spot, unless you press pause and look very closely. But once you see it, it’s almost impossible to not go “aww” and feel somewhat nostalgic.
Two of the memory orbs on the shelves are not of Riley’s memories at all, but instead the memories of another beloved character from a completely different movie. We see Carl & Ellie’s wedding and their home, from Up. Besides Inside Out, Up might be the Pixar movie that pulled the most on our heartstrings, so it felt very fitting for it to have a small cameo here.
