[post_page_title]Subtle shoutout to a Pixar short[/post_page_title]
Riley’s classroom is filled with details, so in all the classroom scenes you;d be wise to press pause and take a closer look at what’s in the background. One of the many posters eagle-eyed viewers might be able to catch, is a reference to a lesser known Pixar short.
La Luna came out in 2011, and is a cute story told in English and Italian. It follows the little boy Bambino, and how he has to find his own path in life (which is part of the theme in Inside Out too, as Riley is maturing from child to adult).
