It’s hard to find a clear shot of this, so you’ll have to take our word for it (or go back and rewatch the movie). But many of the cars in the background of shots are actually from the 2011 Pixar movie Cars 2. For example, the smaller micro-car and the lemons can be seen very briefly.
You’d think they should stand out, because Inside Out has a much softer, more realistic animation style than Cars. But somehow the cars blend in so well you barely notice them.
