It’s not a Pixar movie without a Pixar ball! In Inside Out, it’s featured twice. First in the corner of Riley’s living room, as the toddler is running around and playing with her imaginary friend Bing Bong. Then the pre-teen Riley has a Pixar ball sticker on her backpack.
This ball, also known as the Luxo ball, first appeared in the short Luxo, Jr., which is one of the first shorts to come out of the animation studio.
