[post_page_title]That ’70s movie reference[/post_page_title]
We doubt many caught this reference, but it’s a pretty great one. There is a scene in Cloudtown where two cop looking figures are interviewing a cloud lady, who then disintegrates as Joy runs right through her.
The first cop yells after Joy to come back, but the other one stops him, takes off his cop sunglasses, and says “forget it Jake, it’s Cloudtown” in a melodramatic, movie cop manner. This moment is poking some fun at the ’70s movie Chinatown, where Jack Nicholson’s character is told “It’s Chinatown Jake” in that exact same way.
