It’s hard to imagine that a bird strike can be a serious danger to planes, but the damage one can cause is no laughing matter. Still, this twist of fate is hard not to chortle at.
This pilot had taken to the skies wearing an Angry Birds t-shirt only to have an avian breach his plane’s windshield. It’s the height of coincidence, and his shirt’s design may even have borne some resemblance to the sequence of events. Admittedly, it is unlikely that any bird was deliberately propelled by a slingshot at him.
