When you’re invited to someone’s house for a meal, you’re usually expected to offer to help with the dishes afterwards, and the host is expected to decline – but this family apparently never got the memo.
The person here was invited to their then-partner’s parents’ home for dinner, and offered to help with the cleaning up. To their surprise, not only did the parents accept the “help,” they let their guest do the entire work alone.
