Some people are not good at small talk, so when they meet someone new, they don’t engage in conversation at all. Either that, or they do the complete opposite, and overshare. It seems like the latter is the case here.
The very first time this woman met her then-boyfriend’s father, he went into way too much detail about the reason why he had gotten a divorce, and how he had met his current girlfriend. We’d take a father-in-law who doesn’t engage at all any time over this.
