Reading the story below, we have to wonder if the boyfriend was doing this on purpose to spite his parents, because reading about their behavior, we doubt their own son didn’t realize that bringing someone of a different race home would create an uncomfortable situation.
The person telling the story didn’t sit there listening to a couple of people who apparently needed diversity training, and they did the same thing we would have done – they stood up and left.
