Nowadays, cooking and cleaning is widely considered a basic life skill, and not a gender role. After all, everyone needs to eat and maintain a certain level of hygiene – why would those two very fundamental necessities be attached to a particular gender?
That’s how the man who shared the story above felt, but his then girlfriend’s male relatives didn’t agree. He was getting side-eye because he helped clean the dishes, but if we were to take a guess, we’d say he won points with the ladies.
