This is the story of two women with zero people skills. First, the then-boyfriend’s sister low-key threatened to physically hurt this woman if they didn’t get along, and then came the mother, who wasn’t any better.
The mother gave her a compliment that quickly turned into an insult – “you’re pretty, but you’d be prettier if you got a nose job.” One could argue that maybe they were just nervous because they had never met one of the brother/son’s girlfriends before, but… they have met other human beings before, no?
