Marvel mogul Stan Lee cameoed in every Marvel movie up to his posthumous appearance in Avengers: Endgame. But we’re talking cameos bearing special significance, so let’s talk about his Captain Marvel one. As the titular heroine searches the L.A. metro for a shapeshifting Skrull, she sees someone with his face obscured by a document.
She lowers it, sees Stan Lee, and the two exchange knowing smiles. Stan’s reading the script for Mallrats, the 1995 Kevin Smith classic in which he really made a small appearance. This might be the only MCU cameo where Stan The Man actually plays… himself!
