Quick, what’s your favorite Christmas movie? Trick question – there are only two valid answers: Die Hard and A Christmas Story. The latter holiday classic has not one but two Iron Man connections. First, in Iron Man 3 Tony tells a bespectacled kid that he loved him in A Christmas Story, obviously referencing the movie’s main character Ralphie.
But here’s one we’re betting you didn’t catch – Ralphie’s actor, Peter Billingsley, served as executive producer on the first Iron Man AND also appeared as a Stark Industries scientist who tries in vain to recreate the Arc Reactor for Obadiah Stane.
