When you think about English veteran thespian Kenneth Branagh, you might not initially think about Marvel. You would, of course, be gravely mistaken. To bring the original Thor movie the Shakespearean gravitas it needed, Marvel hired Branagh to direct, and he did a great job.
Then, in Avengers: Infinity War, the movie opens with an Asgardian ship under attack by Thanos’s forces. In a voice over, we hear a distress signal saying the ship is full of civilian refugees. The voice is Branagh’s, who was thrilled to record the first lines of dialogue in the movie.
