During Avengers: Endgame, our heroes go back to different points in time to recover the Infinity Stones. In one sequence, Tony goes back to 1970 and meets his own father, Howard Stark, at S.H.I.E.L.D.’s headquarters. Poignantly, the two converse and exchange advice.
Finally, Howard goes back to his car and asks his driver if Tony didn’t seem familiar. That driver? James D’Arcy, who played Stark’s butler and Peggy Carter’s foil Jarvis in ABC’s Agent Carter. D’Arcy, incidentally, is the first and only actor to appear on a Marvel television show before appearing on the big screen.
