Countless directors, from Alfred Hitchcock to Peter Jackson, love making small cameos in their own movies. In the case of Joe Russo, however, he made some Marvel history. Credited under the pseudonym Gozie Agbo, the director is one of only a handful of people to play more than one character in the MCU – four, in Russo’s case.
His most important role came in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, where Russo played S.H.I.E.L.D. physician Doctor Fine, who saves Nick Fury’s life after he was shot by the brainwashed Bucky, now the Winter Soldier. Way to pad your importance, Gozie.
