Even though he’s now retired from the role, Hugh Jackman landed himself in the Guinness Book of World Records by portraying surly Canadian mutant Wolverine for 16 years and 228 days – a record he shares with co-star Patrick Stewart.
Jackman’s Wolverine appears across ten movies, but his briefest role is also the most hilarious. In X-Men: First Class, Xavier and Magneto go around trying to recruit people for their X-Men initiative. They meet Logan in a bar, and before they can even extend the offer he tells them, in signature Wolverine style, that he’s not interested.
