With the amount of money riding on them, Marvel movies are like army drills, right? Wrong! Iron Man 2 was apparently pretty much ad-libbed, and that’s what helped Olivia Munn, then hosting Attack of the Show!, land the role of reporter Chess Roberts.
Munn even said that at one point Robert Downey Jr. asked for everyone to give her a round of applause. Interestingly, Munn was later rumored to be in the running to play Wanda, but lost out to Elizabeth Olsen because she wasn’t a big enough name. She did end up playing Psylocke in X-Men: Apocalypse, though.
