One big and pleasant moment for all Harry Potter fans was to discover that the seemingly grumpy and scary Professor Snape was actually a hero in the end. He’s a fan favorite for that reason, though we really have to thank Alan Rickman for portraying the character the way he did.
It was amazing how he could change his soft and funny personality into those of the likes of Snape, and for that he’s still loved to this day. Sadly, Rickman passed in 2016 due to cancer, after a year fighting with the disease.
