[post_page_title]James Dean[/post_page_title]
When James Dean became famous for his performance as Jim Stark in Rebel Without a Cause, it was because the character embodied the teenager persona of the decade like no other. Interestingly enough, Dean wasn’t different from the 50s stereotype either, with his fashioned image, glossy haircut and love for cars.
In this photo, known as his last public appearance, he’s accordingly standing on a gas station with his beautiful automobile. The boy lived fast, with a career that lasted only a few years; as he crashed while driving at high speed in 1955.
