Heath Ledger’s Joker, as many film enthusiasts know by now, it’s a fan favorite. His amazing portrayal of the character, alongside director Christopher Nolan’s unique vision for The Dark Knight, had earned him an Oscar. Tragically, it was one he could never receive, since he had passed away a little before due to an excessive intake of his prescription medications.
You’re seeing him in the role of Tony, from The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. As he passed away during the filming of the movie, several changes were made to finish it in his honor.
