Amelia Earhart is known as the most famous female pilot of all time. Learning to fly against the will of her family and ultimately becoming the first woman to ever fly across the Atlantic Ocean with no one but herself, she became a recognized aviation pioneer.
In the last photo she appeared in, you’re seeing her packing for one of her trips. In 1937, she pursued the challenge of traversing around the world, but after she took flight, she was never seen again. What happened to her, we might never know.
