How fitting it is that Kobe Bryant’s last known photo was taken at a basketball game – one in which he watched his beloved daughter Gigi play. The photos seen here were taken on Saturday, January 25, 2020, at Kobe’s Mamba Sports Academy in Thousand Oaks, California.
Basketball was obviously an enormous part of the five-time NBA champion’s life, but he was never prouder than when he watched his daughter play. Tragically, just one day later, both Kobe and Gigi would lose their lives in a helicopter crash, sending the sports world into shock and grief.
