David Bowie inspired many people to listen to his music through his hits such as ‘Rebel Rebel,’ ‘Let’s Dance,’ ‘Heroes,’ and ‘Dancing in the Street.’ The star was determined to continue making music despite the fact he had been diagnosed with liver cancer.
His final album, ‘Blackstar’ was filled with references to his own mortality as he drew ever closer to the end. This image was taken in 2015 at the premiere of his musical, ‘Lazarus,’ and in 2016 the star passed away.
