This one’s from a deleted scene in Avengers: Infinity War, but it was too good not to include. After jogging in Central Park, Tony and Pepper talk about settling down. Tony even says that if they’ll have a son, they’ll name him after Pepper’s eccentric uncle Morgan – which they really eventually did, though they had a daughter.
Then, they mention a “dummy wedding date” to throw the media off, and it’s August 27. That just so happens to be the date Robert Downey Jr. married his longtime girlfriend, Susan. It’s a beautiful melding of a character and the only actor we can imagine playing him.
