Thomas Edison once said that necessity is the mother of innovation. And with a broken toaster, all you need is a little bit of creative thinking to revolutionize toasting to the next level — or, at least, to get your wife a French toast when your toaster’s circuit has been fried.
We’re still wondering though why he had to do it on a whisk, though, when there’s no risk of it falling over on an iron ladle or spatula.
