[post_page_title]The first sign of the MCU X-Men[/post_page_title]
With Disney’s acquisition of Fox, Marvel fans have been positively drooling over the prospect of finally having the X-Men appear in the MCU. As it turned out, the first to make the jump wasn’t a character at all, but a location. TFATWS’s third episode sees Sam, Bucky, and Zemo travel to Madripoor, which has a long and storied history in X-Men comics.
Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige flat out admitted that the location only became available for use after the Fox deal, but the show made sure to foreshadow its appearance since episode one by having the name appear (briefly) in the closing credits.
