[post_page_title]It’s all black and white for Valentina[/post_page_title]
Keeping on-brand with Valentina’s eccentric characterization, she offers John Walker a business card and leaves, saying she’ll be in touch. Walker and his wife are then confused at the fact that the business card is blank – it’s just all-white on one side and all-black on the other.
While she may have used disappearing ink or something, this actually tracks with Walker’s black-or-white viewpoint of the world. It’s funny, considering de Fontaine herself mentions a “legal gray area” when discussing ownership of Steve’s shield – and the fact that TFATWS is all about the world being different shades of gray with no moral absolutes.
