Having a coffee shop by your house is pretty ideal. It’s nice to have close access to great coffee and pastries, and usually becoming a regular has its perks. But this guy clearly didn’t become a regular.
We definitely understand why, but it’s a shame the coffee shop had to pay the price for one inappropriate employee. As a barista you should just like anyone in the service industry be friendly, but neutral in your interactions. Flirting or insulting is never the right way to go.
