Somehow, the fact that this scene played out in a dive shop, seems significant. It just kind of fits the whole diver, surfer, water sports vibe. We don’t think this would have happened in a nice clothing store, is what we’re trying to say.
But, whether you find this situation funny or not – we doubt the customer was laughing. He needed a mask and boots, he was willing to pay for it – but got lazily dismissed by the staff, who then lost out on the money. That’s a lose-lose situation.
