The customers mentioned in the confession below probably never heard the expression “don’t shoot the messenger,” because this is exactly what they were trying to do. They were blaming the “messenger” (the Forever 21 employee) for the “bad news” (the company policy that didn’t suit their needs)…
… And they were so aggressive about it, the employee had to be escorted by security to their car more than one time! Imagine threatening someone who has nothing to do with making the rules because you can only get store credit and not cash.
