Over the course of this survey of Internet ingrates, we’ve started to see a sort of formula begin to develop. Start off being cordial and polite to gain the seller’s trust. Next, swoop in for a discount, or even try to get whatever’s being sold for free, if you are so bold.
Maybe even toss some guilt trip techniques in there. When they inevitably refuse, resort to anger and profanity. A foolproof plan! Except it never works. It’s probably not the healthiest outlet for anger, either. Oh well.
