If things don’t go your way, there’s always one more strategy to employ: the guilt trip. If logic, bartering and begging doesn’t seem to get your message across into the seller’s head, you can always try to make them feel like the scum of the Earth for not doing what you want them to.
In this case, unfortunately for the mom in question, it didn’t work out too well. This guy was all about his money, and didn’t care how their Christmas morning went. Sorry mama, better luck next time.
