It’s no secret that Americans tend to be a little American-centric. To a certain extent, it’s based in reality, as a lot of American culture has extended to other parts of the world, and English is a pretty popular language.
Still, though, how on Earth could you just expect everyone to speak your language if you’ve gone out of your way to travel a foreign nation? Really, the airport worker should be asking why this woman wasn’t speaking Chinese. You know, since she traveled there and seemingly didn’t try to learn the language.
