Captain America may not be the deepest series of movies ever made (hey, they’re action flicks, what do you expect?), but the films do tend to touch upon serious themes of tradition and honor. There is perhaps no better example of this than Sharon Carter’s speech in Captain America: Civil War – although you may not have even noticed this.
She gives a moving speech at one point, and only hardcore comic aficionados will have noticed that it was the exact same speech that Captain America gave in the Civil War comic. Nerds, rejoice: the comics have not been forgotten!
